The Daintree rainforest in the North of Queensland, Australia, is the oldest continuously forested rainforest area on the planet. Over the years much of it has been felled to make way for agriculture. In the coastal lowland plains, most of these felled areas have been planted with sugar cane, or here with a tea plantation.
