Climate change is leading to earlier snow melt in the spring on the Sierra Nevada mountains of southern Spain. Many specialist species of flowering plant surive in this botanists paradise. Scientists have found that plants are migrating upwards and changing altitude zones as temperatures rise. also species that thrive around snow pack are also changing, as the snow melts earlier.
