Workers prepare a specialist grout to cement a transition piece onto a monopile on the jack up barge, Goliath on the Walney Offshore windfarm project, off Barrow in Furness, Cumbria, UK. When finished it will have 102, 3.6 MW turbines, giving a total capacity of the Walney project of 367.2 MW, enough to power 320,000 homes. The rotor diameter of the turbines is 107m for Walney 1 and 120 m for Walney 2. The wind farm is owned and constructed by Dong Energy.
