Global Warming Images

IMG_3128_lake mulwala.jpg Lake Mulwala at Yarrawonga was created when the Murray River was dammed to provide irrigation water for surrounding farmland. Drought has meant that the trees that were killed when they were first drowned are now increasingly revealed as the lake levels drop. Damming of the Murray River for irrigation water extraction and climate change driven drought has lead to unprecedented low river flows on the Murray River.
