The site is off grid, having no mains electricity. The whole site is powered by solar PV panels, with solar water heaters and a wind turbine, with a diesel generator providing backup power. This shot shows the butterfly garden planted with native flowering plants to attract butterflys

The flames were fanned by strong winds and destroyed over 300 acres of moorland. This upland habitat is home to many uncommon ground nesting birds including Curlew golden Plover and Twite. Many nests were destroyed. Global warming has caused many areas of the world to become drier and more likely to burn. This picture shows moth and butterfly caterpillars killed by the fire
