Global Warming Images

20120404_IMG_7431.jpg On Wednesday 4th April 2012, the heaviest April snowfall in over 30 years fell on many parts of the UK. A week before at the end of March the temperatures had reached a whopping 24 Celcius, but within days had dropped to freezing. This shot shows a Forsythia hedge in flower in Ambleside that had come into bloom by the unseasonal warmth, with a backdrop of snow.
