Long term ornithological surveys have revealed that fewer wildfowl are coming to the British Isles each winter, as climate change leads to milder winters, meaning some birds are staying on the continent, closer to their breeding grounds.

In recent years, rainfall totals have reduced by around 75% as a result of climate change. The Berber plant their Barley in October/November so that it can germinate with the winter rains. It is usually harvested in Late April. This shot was taken in mid April, and the Barley should be ready to harvest, hear it has barely germinated due to a failure of the winter rains.
